I usually do not write reviews but my experience was such a positive one that I just wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t. I was in a real bind with the tire on my vehicle losing so much air pressure almost to the point of becoming totally flat! So remembering a conversation that I had with my son awhile back after he had brought his vehicle to Ultimate Automotive and telling me how impressed he was with their honesty, detailed explanation of service and guarantee to stand behind their work, that I decided to give them a call! I talked with Phil, the General Manager, and after hearing the dilemma that I was in, he told me that I could come in that same day and they would take a look at it! Upon arriving, I explained to the mechanic that I had hit a pothole one rainy night a few months back on one of our local roads but I wasn’t sure if that was the cause or not. After examining the tire he was able to determine that the stone that was deeply lodged between the tread was more than likely caused by the incident with the pothole! He was able to plug/patch it and he then reassured me that it should hold for quite some time since the tire still had ample amount of tread left on it. So now it came time to settle up but to my astonishment and I mean ASTONISHMENT Phil said “don’t worry about it “ but just to be good about coming in for normal routine maintenance and I said “I certainly will be a future customer!!” Tell me where in today’s GREEDY world do you find this type of customer service especially when it’s comes to automotive repair?? ULTIMATE AUTOMOTIVE that’s where!!! | |

The team at ultimate went above and beyond for me as a new customer. My car broke down on Friday after work. I had the car towed there on a recommendation from family. They were closed for the weekend and reopened Monday morning. By Monday afternoon they had diagnosed the issue and were very reasonable with their quote. They did all of this after telling me that they are booking a week out. My car was ready by Tuesday around noon time. They were extremely fast, efficient, reasonable, and provided great customer service. I highly recommend Ultimate Auto for your service needs. Recent Experience
The folks at Ultmate Automotive were able to accommodate my request to inspect a used car that I as thinking of purchasing on a timely basis. Their detailed analysis helped to give me a solid idea as to the overall condition of the car and its ultimate market value.
I did purchase the car and found the advice that I received enabled me to do so with a greater comfort level than if I hadn't had their advice on the condition of the car.

I recently took my car in to Ultimate auto for what I thought was going to be a timing belt replacement. Due to the cost of the work and the advice of Steve, I am able to delay the repair comfortably. These people are HONEST, something that is rare these days in my opinion. They also discovered a defect in some brake work that had recently been installed and they replaced that at no charge. My car recently turned 200k and I trust Ultimate Auto. dont bring your veh to this shop
they diagonosed my veh wrong and charged $125 for providing this incorrect info. they also said that it may not solve the problem and that their repair estimate of $3000 would increase if their repair didnt solve the problem. I interfaced with Phil to have a set of tires mounted and balanced. He was respectful and communicated anything related to the job that was appropriate or good to know. The labor rate is on par with the dealership I usual go to. They also offer loaner cars for people to use. The mechanic ended up breaking one of the tire pressure monitoring sensors where the replacement ended up being added to the bill. There are folks that debate whether this was just or not. I am now going to live with a TPMS light on my dash until I fail inspection and need to pay someone to program the replacement sensor into the car's computer. There was no offer to perform this service at a reduced or normal rate. It is possible that unfamiliarity of how the monitoring system is executed on my vehicle played a role in this. I am also unfamiliar with how often these sensors are damaged every time a tire is replaced. With this aside, I'm not sure if I will go back based on the labor rates but it is a definitely maybe given the difficulty of finding a good mechanic these days. - Review by DemandForce.com Feedback from Shop Owner:
Hello Anonymous, I wanted to respond to your concerns. We do follow a very specific procedure to prevent damage to tire pressure sensors and do have great success in doing so. There are times when the sensor damage is unavoidable and unfortunatly was case on your vehicle. I am surprised your tire pressure light is on as we did test drive your car after installing the new sensor and tires and the light was not on at that point. The factory procedure we looked up for your car stated the car needed to be driven for 45 seconds and the sensors would relearn themselves which was one of the reasons we drove the car after we installed the sensor and tires. If the light is now on that procedure may not have been accurate. We do have the tools to reprogram most sensors and will be happy to check your car and reprogram if necessary at no cost for your inconvenience. I appologize for not exceeding your expectations as that is our goal every day. | |

Way beyond what any other car service has done!
Greg and the staff went above and beyond what they needed to to help me. I had purchased a service plan from a local dealer when I bought my car in 2003. After reviewing the service plan contract with me, Greg noticed that some of the items that I needed were actually covered! For over eight years I had gone only to the dealer and they brushed me off when I asked about my plan. Since my car was running pretty well and not costing me much, I didn't make a big deal about it. Overall your work is excellent and I appreciated the loaner vehicle. However, I was disappointed to not have the type of oil requested installed in the vehicle. I ask for 10w-40 and even had a conversation when dropping off the vehicle as to why I wanted that. The person at the desk said it called for 10-30 and we debated that a bit. 10-30 was put in the car. Clearly what I did not want. Next was a discussion about brake service. I wanted to know about the parts to be used. Answers were evasive. If I am going to spend $950 on my old car I want to make informed decissions. I brought my car to Ultimate for an oil change, and was surprised at the level of detail that went into the accompanying inspection. When I asked for additional detail about specific trouble spots, they were happy to talk through it. I left my car there later that week for my alignment, and (in addition to checking the alignment) they took pictures of the trouble spots that were difficult to see and describe from a few days earlier. The pictures were included with my alignment report and were both helpful and free of charge. Recent Experience
I had a slow leak in one of my tires and brought it into have it looked at.
It was determined that I had picked up a nail in the sidewall of my left rear tire and that it needed to be replaced.Much to my chagrin I was informed that my front tires also needed to be replaced.after processing this information.I instructed them to order 4 new tires and to replace them with all possible haste.

I brought my 2000 Nissan Pathfinder in for service. I needed an oil change and to have my exhaust system looked at. The guys did a thorough inspection and provided me with a list of repairs needed. I had the oil change done but opted to wait until my emissions inspection is due (in the fall) to see if any other major repairs are needed so I can decide if it is worth putting the money into the car. Wonderful!
