My truck needed a part , gage cluster, and they found one in Canada and it took some time for it to get here. The team did their very best in keeping me informed of what was happening. We have gone to Coopers for 40 years at least, except or trying the dealership when we purchased a vehicle. Within a year we left the dealership service we had under warranty and returned to Coopers. Coopers is courteous, honest to the core, and prompt! We have consistently recommended their labor quality and ethics! We have never questioned our decision to pay a little more to utilize long-standing and local mechanics rather than to go to a less costly chain service center. I want to say a huge thank you to Devon who worked on my car on April 13th. He did a fantastic job! There was a noise that sounded like something rubbing. It worried me so I made the first appointment I could get. This strange noise wasnt always present. I would hear when I went to the store but sometimes it wasnt there on the way home. It was worrisome because my car is old like me and I'm trying my best to make it last as long as possible. I was afraid something was loose in the area of the brakes so to make a long story short. I took it to Cooper Auto. Devon did a complete inspection and found loose shims. He showed me the parts. After removing them and he gave it a good grease job and its been just fine! No more rubbing sounds. Its wonderful and the peace of mind is priceless.\r\nI would highly recommend everyone to take their vehicles to Cooper Auto for all services and repairs because you will get the BEST service possible. Took my Ford Ranger in for an oil change. While there they noticed a leaking rear wheel cylinder. They had did a brake job the year before, so it was still under warranty. We scheduled an appointment and they replaced the cylinder for free. They are a honest and hard working group. Would recommend them to anyone. \r\n Terry | |

I have three vehicles and Cooper Fuel is the only place who I allow to perform service on any of them. They do all scheduled maintenance and have performed some major jobs on some of them. These include replacing rocker arms, full top-end rebuild, replacing transmission seals and going through my 32 year old pick-up and doing all of the maintenance required to get it into tip-top shape. Cooper automotive was phenomenal. They did a thorough inspection of the vehicle and spent significant time on the phone with us to explain the findings. The work they performed was top notch and reassuring to know it is done right. They also identified that our tires had some cracking even though the tread was still good and recommended we go back to the company that installed them to see if there is anything that could be done. And boy were we lucky, the tires had a 10 year total warranty from Discount tire and we were literally 2 weeks from it expiring. Thanks to Cooper auto for saving us about $600 or $700 dollars out of our pocket that we would have otherwise had to pay for new tires.Cooper auto has just become my go-to place for any future repairs. | |

This repair did not involve any mechanical work...however, it did involve some investigative detective work. Cooper had to determine the cause for an error message displayed on the dashboard, "Door Ajar" which over-rode the odometer and three other messages. They quickly found the cause-the door ajar switch broken off the door latch. I would have given them a five star review except I had to reposition a door panel part and trim which they had forgotten to do. All in all, a very good job! | |

I had the timing belt and water pump replaced in my Hyundai Elantra. After I picked up the car, I drove it about 6 miles and the engine coolant temperature light came on. The car does not have an engine temperature gauge. I checked and there was no coolant in the reservoir. I called my contact at Coopers and he told me that it was probably just an air pocket in the cooling system. He recommended that I let the car cool off for 15 minutes and drive it back to Coopers. They checked out the car and told me that it was missing 1/3 of its coolant. They added more coolant and the car seems to be OK, but I wish that they would have checked this out before I picked up the car. | |

I was provideded an verbal estimate of $279 to diagnose and install customer provided spark plugs.
In the end they forgot to install the plugs. They installed a new distributor and rotor and neglected to set the timing.
The bill was $380.00. I'm never coming back. I'm going to Town and Country for now on.

My car was making a very loud screeching noise and after taking my car to a competitor and having to pay them $75.00 only to receive a note of their findings with a totaled price, I drove down the road in the opposite direction and happened upon "These Guys." John was very courteous and sympathetic as he asked me to pop the hood, and upon his knowledgeable experienced free accessment, I hired him to do the work. They gave me a ride home while the work was done. I was very pleased to have saved $500.00 on the bill I would have had to pay their competitor. As it turned out, I only needed belts replaced and NOT the A/C ($500.00 more). I have just relocated over here from Seattle and am very happy😃 to have found my "CAR GUYS." 😃. Cooper's been taking care of me and my vehicles for the last ten years. I bought a car during the weekend with 48 hours to get the car inspected by my mechanic before the sale became final. I called Cooper's when they opened Monday morning, and even with a full schedule, Jason had me bring the car right in with the promise to get to it that day. They fully inspected the car and made some necessary adjustments (rear breaks were out of alignment), and on a very busy day, Jason took the time to thoroughly address all my concerns and answer all my questions about the car (lights, wipers, etc.). He even set and demonstrated the dome light for me. Really. It never occurred to me to ask about the dome light. They come on and off when you open and shut the door right? No, this one has three settings. So not only is the new car in good working order, Jason made sure I was confident to operate it. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Cooper's have rescued me and a trunk full groceries before my ice cream could melt when my Subaru wouldn't start and found and installed a battery tender on my Honda when my battery kept dying because I didn't drive it enough. (I didn't even have to pop the hood to plug it in.) They take great care of your car and they take great care of you the driver all at a great price. I expect they'll be the ones to "gently" wrestle my car keys away when the time comes. I really trust them. Thanks again guys, as always, you're the best. | |

Took way longer than estimated
I had set up the repair appointment a week ahead of time. They called me back and asked some information about the car so they could pre-order the parts - the pressure side power steering hose. The car was dropped off for the appointment on time and the repair was to only take about an hour once the car was in the shop. Near the end of the day the car was not ready and they needed to keep it overnight. The car was ready the next day around noon. The reason stated for the repair taking so long was the job was much harder than expected because they had a hard time getting the old hose disconnected and removed from the car. Because they were unable to repair the car in the stated time we were able to make a morning appointment the day the car was returned. | |

Sympathy & Understanding
My car went in for a check - it was not performing well...in fact it was a bit scary. Turns out, half of the 4 cylinders it requires to run were in effect dead.
The people @ Cooper not only were sympathetic to my loss, but discounted the diagnostic service.

Good Service
The Guys and Gals at Cooper are friendly and know what they are doing.. Also When I become forgetful, as age has shown me I am good at, they don't do any, smarter than me stuf. but gently ask if I thing maybe I ought to think about doing such and such any time soon. Fortunately I am not as stuped as to ignore their suggestions and that is why the 06 Chevy with 100 or so thousand miles on it is running like a top. Thanks folks. | |

Friendly Professional service
We had a part installed a few months ago, which became defective and needed to be replaced. Cooper fuel stood by their product and work. They very quickly ordered a new part and installed it the next day..free of charge. That is a sign of true integrity! That is why they will continue to be our place for auto repair. | |

Finally, an auto pepair company I can trust!
Cooper Auto Repair was recommended by friends who had been customers for years and raved about their exceptional work, friendliness and honesty. I had been taking my car to various places for oil changes, but I hadn't found a place where I felt comfortable about the honest diagnoses of different noises, etc. I recently decided that I wanted to keep better records and take care of maintenance issues on a regular basis. So I decided to try Cooper's.
I needed new tires. My engine light had been on for months. I didn't even know where to add oil, transmission fluid, or water. The first person I met was Philip. He was friendly, courteous, & outgoing. He arranged for an employee to drive me home and then bring my car back to the shop. He called and quoted an estimate of the repairs. As a senior living on a fixed income, I couldn't afford all of the repairs at once, so Philip organized the priority of the repairs and gave me the option of having them done or not. I never felt any pressure at all. It was my decision. I decided on an oil change and new tires, since my tires were next to bald. They checked all the fluids and decided that I didn't need a tune up. When the oil change was finished, the employee picked me up at my home and drove me back to the shop. I was told that the "tire guru" Jason, could explain the different options of tires, prices, etc. Jason spent a good 45 minutes with me explaining all of the different options of tires, prices, and answered all of my questions about the best ones for me and my driving needs. Again, I never felt pressured. He simply presented the facts and I decided to buy 4 new tires. Cooper's installed them and balanced them. I was driven home and picked up so I wouldn't have to wait to have them installed.
Just yesterday, I heard a noise in the steering column and a passerby had told me that my right backup light wasn't working., so I stopped by Cooper's and Jason came out to listen. He assured me that the noise was nothing to be concerned about and for once, I felt safe knowing that he was honest, had my best interest at heart and I could trust his judgment. He checked my backup light and found that it was simply a burned out bulb, which he replaced AT NO CHARGE!
I have finally found an auto repair place that I can trust and I can't see myself going anywhere else! They even send me coupons and rewards for every dollar I spend! Amazing!!! Thank you, Jason, Philip and the rest of the Cooper's team! Robbie McCabe | |

99 Corolla maintance
I went to Cooper's on a recommendation from a friend for what I thought was bad fuel pump/filter. The staff are very knowledgable and able to explain in detail what my problems were without added pressure of more maintenance than what was needed to get my car running smoothly again. Car runs like a champ. I also can now say, I now have a personnal mechanic to do all maintenance on my cars.
Without a doubt I recommend them to anyone needing an honest mechanic.

I decided to try these guys out after I noticed their reader board week after week being used to encourage the community and advertise for community events instead of try and convince me they're the best. Well I found out they are the best!! I have used a few other places in town but these guys far exceed the rest. We go out of our way to stop at Cooper!
For years now we have taken our automotive issues big and small to Cooper Fuel & Auto. Starting when they referred a repair back to the Car maker because of a recall. The dealer service department tried to charge us for that recall repair. Now we've moved to Issaquah, but whenever we stop by the 'Dale we get our service done at Cooper's.

Coopers began their excellent service by looking at my previous service history then working with me on what I needed to have done on my high mileage vehicle. I must have asked them 50 questions and they were so willing to work with me. We started on the repairs and as would be expected on an older vehicle they found other issues. They provided options and solutions and a long term plan that no other automotive service has ever provided. I highly recommend Coopers. | |

June 2013 we had oil change & you made a list of future work that should be done. Lost the list. Stopped in to ask for copy, car was running a bit choppy, slow on hills so made an appt thinking you would review the previous list & prioritize what we needed to get done & let us decide what we could afford to do. I guess we misunderstood each other. Spouse is not happy. "We paid $147 to diagnose we needed new plugs & wires? Just like those money grubbing TV preachers". I feel bad cuz I want to support companies that tithe back into the kingdom. I hate taking care of car stuff. Spouse disabled cant drive or work anymore limited income. So sorry but he way says I cant bring car back to you guys. Thanks for the uplifting messages on your street sign though. | |

As always the service was great. I had my vehicle in mainly for the drivers side window repair. The regulator went out and so did the motor inside the door. Part was ordered from California and they had it the next day! After the job was completed the door could have been cleaned up better than it was. There was dust and dirt on the fabric inside the door and the glass was dirty from touching during repair. I'm thankful for the quick repair since we are in our rainy season now. Great service from their treatment of customers to the treatment of our car! I was able to stop by and pick up stuff left in my car and wasn't at all concerned about anything being stolen that was left in the car!! They allowed me to pick up the car and run to an appointment only to come back that afternoon to close everything out! They fixed what I could afford and offered suggestions to minimize the damage until I could get the car back in for further service. I wish all mechanics have I come accrossed are as caring, hard working and friendly as those at Cooper's!! THANK YOU. | |

My Cooper's experience is the first time where I tell people, "I trust mechanics with my vehicles." They demonstrate not only knowledge and experience but sincere personal interest in my satisfaction. And the proof is in getting it right. I "cheated" once by accepting a discount coupon for service at the dealer and later to find out that Cooper's would still have been less expensive with more service to complete the job. Excelent service
From time to time in the past I used the services of Cooper Fuel. For the last few years, being the lazy person I apparently am, I used the services of a Lube and Oil change service close to home. It was cheaper and seemed to be faster than going the few miles to get serviced at Cooper fuel. As with many things, cheaper should have been my hint. The service has gotten shabby and I had to get several hundred dollars in fixes from Cooper Fuel to fix the problems caused by that service. Lesson learned... I shall, as long as I am a driver with cars use Cooper Fuel for ser5vice thereto. Moral...Take your car or truck to a repair shop that knows what it is doing. Cooper Fuel, for me, is that shop. My past history with Cooper's was the deciding factor in choosing their tire service. Since they had given me such great advice in selecting the type of tires to install, I went with the same type on this installation. Their service throughout the life of the tires resulted in over 83,000 miles on the previous set! I see no reason to expect less from this set of tires. I can already feel the difference in the way the car handles. | |

Last visit and every visit the staff are always extremely nice and I feel like they are my friends. The service on my cars throughout the years has been priced fairly according to the labor done. The work was always appropriate to the needs of the car. In this town I have had many mechanics that have cheated me by lieing about the work that needed to be done and gave me exhorbatant prices. Had the best experience ever in getting my oil changed. They squeezed my appointment in even though they were really busy that day. I did not feel rushed as they also checked different things like the brakes, tires, fluids. Since my husband was leaving on a long trip with this car in a few days, it made me feel really good about his safety to know the car was in good shape to travel.
