As discussed, we are very disappointed with the service we got. We were over charged for part and not even given other options. It's pretty sad when the both of the Ford dealerships in town would have charged us $167.00 plus tax less then you did.
We have been dealing with your shop for years and have always recommended it to friends and family.
Both andre and I called to discuss this further. I spoke with Drew and was told that the part was so expensive cause it has a life time warranty the truck is 18 years old!! And no other price options were mentioned. Given the option we would not have chosen to pay almost 200.00 more for a part.
Then andre called and talked to mike yesterday. He was offered the same reason - the lifetime warranty. Again, you made this decision for us without offering other options Mike also told andre that part of the reason that part was chosen was because the company that would deliver cheaper parts could not come on Monday. Yet andre told you guys Monday we were not in a rush for the truck as he was out of town for the week. I feel that's a pretty lame excuse for over charging on parts! Andre called lordco and they quoted 285.00 with a lifetime warranty and shops get a cheaper rate so that's quite the mark up on parts! Wow
We feel ripped off! we have been loyal customers for years and I would never have expected this! Needless to say you have lost our business and we will share this experience with others.

It's great! I always get great service at Paragon. They are very thorough and suggest preventative maintenance for your vehicle before problems start. Dallas gets to know you and your needs and is very knowledgeable about the mechanical workings of vehicles. Rick, Mike and company always do great work and will take the time to find the solution to your vehicle's problem. They have kept their rates very competitive and never try to fix something that is still working.
I highly recommend Paragon to anyone who needs a good mechanic. Rick has been my mechanic for 20 years.

I was having a problem with an intermittent MIL. I liked how Drew explained very clearly what needed to be done and what the consequences would be if I I were to postpone the fix until a later time. The proactive approach is commendable - gives you time to consider your options. The I was also pleased that the diagnostics and repair were all done while I waited.

I have been dealing with Paragon Motors for the past 8 years, a year ago I became an Owner Operator in Kelowna. Being an O/O means I need my truck on the road every day. WHY GO ANYWHERE ELSE!! They treat me like a old family friend with the way they treat my 3 vehicles. I had my van in for a clock spring replacement and I was on my way faster than it took to have lunch at a pub. I now believe that you will have a hard time to find 3 people that work together as well as these new friends at Paragon Motors. They are by far the best I have ever encountered in vehicle repairs. I used to go to Canadian Tire, mostly because of convienence for where I work. After meeting these people, Dallas, Rick, & Mike, I realized that I had spent way to much money and time looking for the type of relationship that Is right here at Paragon. They trust me enough for me to drop off and pick up my vehicle after hours and be in the next morning to pay my bill, most often before they have had the coffee maker turned on. That trust is beyond words. I have yet to encounter that attitude anywhere else. If you have never encountered these people yet, what are you waiting for??

FULL SATISFACTION !!!! I have had the pleasure of meeting Rick, Dallas, & Mike about 1.5 years ago after being referred by a close friend of mine. Rick had repaired bearings on the drive shaft of my 1995 chev s10 before I left for a month long vacation in Central California last fall. On the way home, the drive shaft fell off just outside of Yreka California. After spending a frustrating night and most of the next day waiting for my truck to be repaired, I finally was on my way about 4:30pm. The day after I got home, I dropped int see Rick and explained to him & Dallas my experiences with the driveshaft issue. They sent the pieces out for a second opinion to which the reply was that the failure could not be attributed to the labor or the bearings that I supplied from Napa Auto parts on Spall Road. Rick's opinion was that he would refund the labor portion of the bill only. & that I should take up the balance of the issue with Napa Auto Parts. Their response was that they would pick up the balance of the repairs in the form of a store credit. As frustrating as the whole ordeal had been, at no time did I ever feel that my business & issues or concerns were not important. Both RickDallas were very understanding, patient, & respectful during the whole time that it took to resolve this issue. If there is such a thing as a best mechanics award, it still would not be enough to show my gratitude to these very fine people. I am very proud to have met them. Yet sad at the same time that I had not met them sooner. You are the best Rick, Dallas & Mike

Rick is the type of guy that has a tremendous amount of knowledge through education and experience. van has poor idling Recently had my van 1998 grand caravan in for a idling issue. On a recent Sunday, my van needed a boost. After connecting another van to boost mine, I noticed that the negative terminal clamp was corroded with battery acid. Because Paragon was closed, (because it was Sunday), I decided to install a terminal clamp and new battery in my van. The battery was about 1 inch taller than the battery that was in the van, I decided to try and cut the protective sheath surrounding the battery cable form the battery down to the starter to try and lengthen the cable to make it longer to reach the top of the new battery. I soon realized that wouldn't work and I would need a shorter battery. Once installed, the van developed a poor idling attitude while in gear at stop lights. I took the van into Paragon this past Friday and explained the problem to Rick. When I went after I got off work to pick up my van, I noticed that Rick had a mischeivious grin on his face. He explained that because of the stupid mistake that I had done cutting the cable sheath, it gave him the laugh of the day knowing that I'm not mechanically inclined and I was trying to prove how smart I was. lol He promised not to laugh to hard when telling this story to his friends about the dummy who was trying to save a few bucks.

You know you brought your vehicle to the right place when... I took my vehicle in for another oil change and brake fluid flush this time. Since I'm in approximately every 2 months I told them not to bother checking the air pressure in the tires (I spend time making sure that each tire is 35 PSI) or removing the wheels and tires to check my brakes (40% left last oil change).
Rick sarcastically said "You're a special customer, I guess we could do less for you then our other customers!" Dallas spoke up right away "You've put on 5,000 kilometers, a lot can happen. We're going to check everything. I didn't argue.
Well, when I came back to pick up my vehicle, surprise! surprise! My front right tire had only 15 PSI in it. There was a screw in the tire! I guess I can cancel my wheel alignment!

Friendliest Garage around! I went into this garage with a Groupon to get an oil change. When I left they gave me three pages of things that needed to be done to the car starting with the first page the most serious. That gave me a chance to budget and I would phone in and I'd say I want page-one done on Monday,then a couple months later I would phone in and see you need to page 2 done. Every time they came under budget which is awesome! They are very friendly and they take a lot of time explaining to you about the car and all-around nice atmosphere!

Beyond my expectations My experience with Paragon Motors was exceptional!
From the convenience of being open on a Saturday to Dallas' customer service I was beyond happy with all aspects of my interaction with Paragon staff.
As a mid 20s female with no understanding of cars, I usually I feel really guilty about how infrequently I service my truck when I go for an oil change etc because of how I am treated by the technician, but Dallas was incredibly helpful and gave me a follow up which included different future maintenance possibilities depending on my plan for my vehicle. I wasn't expecting any of this.
She clearly described in terms that I understood any superficial issues compared to anything which could become a problem in the near future.
I didn't feel pressured to agree to further services, but when required, I would have no problems going to Paragon. As well as an oil change, I had a squeaking fan belt, which has caused me to have my truck serviced, multiple times at great cost, to no avail. Paragon however were quick at identifying the issue, did a great job fixing it at a much lower cost than I had paid previously to NOT have it fixed.. Far better than anything else I have experienced previously, they definitely go above and beyond.

Heroes & Heroines Rock! The team at Paragon Motors consists of REAL people who truly care about their customers' satisfaction. I am a recently widowed lady who, with bills pressing, needed to get my 1995 Pontiac Firebird running so that I could sell it. To that end, I had retained a "mobile mechanic" who took $700 of my hard-earned money with the promise that my car would be returned to me, running like a top the next day. The next day came and went. 4 days later my car still wasn't running and he was predicting that I would have to spend another $1200 for him to get it running. When I asked him to account for the money I'd already given him, he said that he'd spent several hours trying to find out what was wrong so I could consider my $700 spent money. Already stressed out and grieving, I took it hard when he began to phone me yelling at me and then hanging up on me without my having said a word. I was in a bad way when I instinctively chose Paragon Motors from the internet listings, called them and explained my miserable situation to Dallas. Ahhh... the amazing Dallas. Comforting me and reassuring me to try to calm me down, she arranged to have my Firebird retrieved immediately. To me she said, "I've got this. Please go and rest." The next morning, she called to say that my car was fixed, running well and ready to be picked up. She had even gone to the trouble of washing it for me! With her compassion leaving me in misty-eyed gratitude, then only having to pay a fraction of what the "mobile mechanic" had predicted and finally having my car fixed and running beautifully, these awesome people earned themselves a devoted, lifetime client in me. They not only retrieved and fixed my car but they also removed my grieving self from harm's way. If you're considering Paragon Motors for your mechanical needs, I highly recommend their excellent services as you can approach with the confidence that they are truly listening to you and working to ensure that you drive away feeling satisfied and well-served! Incredible Service and Great Value I originally bought a Groupon at 30% I off that gave me 2 oil changes for $50. I work in Kelowna but live in Vernon. I asked my brother that also lives in Vernon if he wanted one for his car. He took his car one day and took mine another. He was very impressed by their friendliness and attention to detail. There was no extra charges and they provided him with a full list of things to watch for and a full quote for those repairs. When he took my car they did the same and remembered his name. We read the quotes for both cars. They were less expensive than our provider in Vernon. We decided to have our repairs done by Paragon. First my brother. He was very happy with his repairs. He then took my car. The first time I drove my car after it's service I thought I was driving a new car. I am so happy with the result and the price.
Thank you to Dallas, who I am yet to meet. I will be returning for my next oil change and service on a Saturday just so I can meet you.

Happy again! Great one on one service!
If they happen to not catch it the first time (although they almost ALWAYS do), they keep at it till they get it perfect.
Rick's diagnostic skills are second to none.
Would recommend them to anyone.

Pre purchase Vehicle inspection We had Paragon perform a pre-purchase vehicle inspection before buying a used car; we were very happy with their service; it was quick and Dallas took the time to review the inspection with us in great detail. Great job !!
