Unable to fix problem on car.
I took my car to the shop because of several instrument warnings; ABS, Check Engine, "Display defective". I was told 2 O2 sensors need to be replaced, and I agave the "go signal".
I was disappointed the shop was not able to fix my car's problem, after 2 days.I paid $311 ( thanks to a $50.00 discount coupon it was down to $261.00)

Thanks for getting me on the road
Have been using Kingwood Service Center for years, for multiple cars. Just after Christmas I was having slow start problems which worried me for a planned out of town trip that day. They looked up my records over the phone, found that my batteries were covered under warranty, told me to come on over and within about 45 minutes I was on the road with two new batteries in my F250 truck. I've always found this shop to be reliable, and feel that they give me honest service recommendations and do good work. | |

Dierke runs a truly professional auto repair shop.
Took my wife's car in to check the items that Dierke sent out on his maintenance notice and for a oil leak problem. Sam greeted with his usual big smile and Dierke was his normal gentlemanly self.
The items on the maintenance notice based on averages were not necessary yet, and they did not charge for or just do unneeded too early maintenance it did not need. A lot of shops would have just done some service anyway. That is a significant plus compared to other shops and the dealer.
Remarkable was that the only repair item of the oil leak was due to the top of the line oil filter somehow being loose and leaking. Mr. Hobbs had his tech do a thorough check out, replaced that filter with a new AC Delco, checked oil levels, and charged NOTHING. Many shops and our formerly used dealer garage would have had the attitude of "tough on the kitty but stuff happens" and charged us. The Kingwood serivce center took that ethical honest attitude that it was their part & service, and they made it right with no charge. Just think about that. | |

I have an '08 BMW 3series and my warranty has run out. For regular maintenance such as oil change, brakes, etc, the quotes I got from the dealership where outrageous! I took my 2003 Explorer to KSC and asked them to check the brakes since the vehicle had over 215,000 miles on it. The mechanic immediately put the truck up on the rack, removed the wheels, and came back a short time later with a report that the brakes were still in good shape and suggested that I have them checked again in six months or so. I had also been having starter issues and had made the decision not to fix it until it quit. Fortunately for me, it did just that... would not start while sitting in my driveway... and not at the mall or somewhere inconvenient. I had the Explorer towed to the KSC and as I suspected they determined the starter to be bad. In short order they replaced the starter and we are rolling once again in "old faithful". I can't say enough about the courtesy and professionalism shown me by the staff at KSC. They are great! | |

Kingwood Service is the BEST service
Although I don't need my cars serviced a lot (I take care of them and do some of the little things, like change the oil, myself), when I do need automotive care and service, I don't even consider anyone else but Kingwood Service Center. I know without any doubt that not only will I get the best service available, but that I will get an honest and complete assessment of what my car needs in the way of maintenance.
The management is always friendly and professional, the mechanics are always polite, friendly, professional, and thorough, and the service is always the best at a fair and reasonable price. They back up their work with a guarantee and I have never had any problem or dispute with them in any way. They will gladly take the time to explain what your car's needs are and how and why they will fix the problem.
In short, if you are within driving distance of Kingwood and aren't using KSC, you are NOT getting the best service for your money. | |

I would like to commend the Shell Kingwood Service Center for their professionalism, speedy service, and customer satisfaction. I brought my truck in for a state inspection, oil change and tire rotation and i was extremely pleased with how i was greeted, written up and taken care of from start to finish. Mr. Dan Hart was very professional and courteous and did a great job for me. I will definitely bring my vehicles (both) exclusively to the Kingwood Service Center. Kingwood service center was excellent as always.
I have brought in every vehicle I have owned (many) for every member of my family (wife and 3 boys. I have come to trust Derek and Dan completely. They have always had fair competitive pricing for their work. They're not always the cheapest, but they stand by their work. It's always fixed correctly. Most importantly, there have been quite a few times that I thought something was wrong with the vehicle and there wasn't. They were honest and reputable enough to tell me everything was okay. Great Service
We again have received good diagnostic and good service from Kingwood Service Center. We first researched the problem on the internet and that turned out to be s incorrect diagnosis. Dierke and Dan's team correctly dianosed the problem and we were back on the road with out delay. Our car had just been released from body work from another shop and Dierke & Dan's team found a problem with the car that should have been fixed by the body shop. Now that repair is being covered by the insurance company instead of me. That is a big savings and would have shown up later when I had to pay for repairs. | |

Dierke and the rest of the gentlemen are always professional and extremely knowledgeable of any issues we encounter with our vehicles. The most important facet to me is that they don't recommend fixing things on a vehicle that don't really need to be fixed/replaced. While the vehicle was there we believe some miscreants got in the vehicle and stole an item; not necessarily any employee there. Instead of giving that not my fault, and not our responsibility, Mr. Dierke Hobbs made it all good. He did a thorough check and investigation. Then he reimbursed me for the pilfered item. Now consider what you would get from a nearby repair shop [to be unnamed] or the dealer if something was missing? This was the right thing to do and it was handled professionally and honestly.

The Impala is all service and ready to go. There was only one problem (needs a replacement of the cabin air filter) left and I forgot to tell Sam about it. In addition, good old Sam actually had a nice big smile for a change when I came in.

I was referred by a neighbor when we first moved to Kingwood, and have been bringing my cars to this shop for over 8 years, and will continue to do so. I have referred friends and neighbors to these guys because they have always treated me well. I have been given great advice on what repairs are needed, and an honest fair price.
